- 1 quart (32 oz. canned) or fresh tomatoes
- 6 oz. tomato paste
- 1 tsp unrefined sea salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- basil, thyme, oregano to taste
If using fresh tomatoes, prepare them by removing the stem and any bruises or blemishes.
Blend ingredients well in a food processor until smooth.
Store in a non-reactive container (like glass) in the fridge or freezer.
