Ingredients

  • 6-7 medium potatoes of choice (I used yellow potatoes)
  • 1 tbsp italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Wash and dry potatoes.
  • Cut the potatoes into 1/2 to 3/4 inch strips and place in a large bowl.
  • Add seasonings to the bowl and mix well until the potatoes are well coated.
  • Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Spread the seasoned potatoes evenly on the baking sheets.
  • Place baking sheets on middle oven racks and bake for 30-35 minutes, turning the fries and alternating the position of the top/bottom baking sheets at about 15 minutes (halfway through baking time).
  • Allow fries to cool for 5-10 minutes and serve with ketchup (I prefer no sugar added, or you can make your own ketchup).

Notes

Do not add salt until the fries are done baking. Adding salt during the cooking process can cause the fries to become soggy.
