You will also have proven to yourself that you are capable of getting up and doing it, which in itself is often important if you are to try and get through the depression. So try as hard as you can to exercise, at least a little, and you should find that it makes an enormous difference.
Eat Well
Chances are, the depression has caused you to forego your eating habits, and that in turn will mean that you struggle more to overcome the depression. If you are to get out of your depression, you need to think about eating well, which is something that might be harder than you think to make a reality.
There are many steps involved in this, such as making a list and going to the supermarket, and you might find it overwhelming. But it is important that you care for yourself if you are to recover, and eating well is one of the most important aspects of that overall. If you start eating well, you will find that you are going to feel a lot better a lot sooner.
