Alternative Medicine

When you are in pain, you most likely have a prescription for a specific type of painkiller. And although this is great, over time, you build a tolerance, and that means you need more of the same to get the same effect. Unfortunately, this can have consequences in other areas. Luckily there are a lot of alternative medications on the market now. CBD is a popular choice and has helped thousands of people. There are also a lot of other herbal medicines that may be worth trying if you haven't tried them already. It may even be worth trying something different for a few weeks and detoxing from your usual painkiller. If you need to go back to it, you'll need less to get the painkilling effect.

Alternative Therapies

There are a lot of alternative painkilling therapies out there. Holistic therapy may be an option for you where the practitioner develops a wellness program around the mental, emotional, etc., your entire life. Acupuncture is another great example. There are also therapies like massage and cupping. It is definitely worth investigating this avenue if you have not done so already.
