Time is a fascinating concept; some of us say we don’t have enough of it, and others have too much and get bored. No matter what kind of watch we might choose to wear, time is a constant in our lives and something we are always aware of, whether we like it or not. 

When we have free time, we can easily be at a loss as to what to do with it, especially if we have been busy and suddenly find that we have a break. So if you have some free time, what are the best things you can do that will be interesting and productive? Here are some ideas. 


Exercising regularly throughout the week is crucial as part of a healthy lifestyle, so when you have some free time it makes sense that you could fill it with exercise. It might be a class at your local village hall, some time at the gym using specialist equipment, a swim, a bike ride, a brisk walk through the woods… What you do doesn’t matter as long as your heart rate is up, higher than normal, and you enjoy it.
