“Try using fermented garlic for a probiotic tomato sauce”
1. When using store bought tomatoes or tomato paste, jarred is preferable to canned tomatoes because of the BPA in cans.
2. When using fresh tomatoes, cut the stem off and any bruises or blemishes before processing.
3. Fresh herbs and spices are preferable but not required.
4. If your sauce seems too watery, add a bit more tomato sauce until you get the desired consistency.
Equipment Needed:
- A good food processor (I use this one)
- A wooden spoon
