Angina is the restriction of blood flow to the heart. It is not a heart attack. It is not the symptom of a heart attack. Though it can be a sign of potential heart problems. Angina should not be ignored.

Typical angina symptoms include tightness, discomfort, and/or pain in the chest as well as problems breathing. Many people think they are having a heart attack as it can sometimes affect the left arm and the neck.

If you have been diagnosed as having angina and not having a heart attack, you can look to several home remedies to help you. They are not quick cures. They are changes in your life to help alleviate the pain and discomfort.

Believe it or not, parsley is a great home remedy for angina. It is not just a garnish or seasoning. It can be used to help ease chronic discomfort from angina. You just never knew that what you had in the kitchen cupboard could be so beneficial.

Taking Parsley for Angina

Do you just garnish your plate every night and eat it? Well…..yes. You can do that. Fresh parsley leaves can be found in most grocery stores. You can munch on them fresh after being washed or you can add them to salads.

Another way to take parsley as an herb for angina is to brew parsley tea. Have two cups a day to get what you need in your home fight against angina.

Nutritious

Parsley is actually a very nutritious herb. It contains Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, iron, and folic acid. It also is full of anti-oxidants which help repair cells and increase the ability of the blood to carry nutrients. Folic acid is huge in helping hearts stay healthy. It works on cells and repairs damage done to the circulatory system.

Regular Consumption

Taking parsley for your heart cannot be done for just one day. It has to be a regular consumption in your daily diet. You need to make a habit of drinking the parsley tea and/or having parsley in your foods such as salads or as a garnish. Once you get it into your regular eating routine, you’ll find even more ways to use it in your meal preparation.

Angina is Serious

Never take angina lightly. If you have not been diagnosed with angina and you have the symptoms described above, please seek medical attention immediately. It could be a heart attack. Seconds count in these situations. If you have been diagnosed, make parsley a regular part of your daily life and fight it naturally.
